Town centre location.
Pleasantly suprised how friendly the staff were.
Rooms were reasonable size and very clean.
Bed was extremely comfortable.
Definately value for money.
Downside is having to park in the council carpark, but not really any hassle.
After 4pm, parking is free until 8am.
If you purchase a ticket after 4pm, it will give you up to 11am next day.

My Daughter, Grandaughter and I stayed last weekend for two nights and was pleasently suprised how nice it was. The decor is lovely in shades of mauve, purple, lilac and nuetral colours which really blended nicely together. The room was quite spacious and very very clean and modern. Tea and coffee making facilities and the usual open storage space etc. t.v. Fab shower and bath again very clean. Nice restaurant and bar with very good service to say how very busy it was. We will certainly stay here again next time we are in the area.

Room Tip: we were on the top floor and it was very quiet

After a very long drive (500 miles) it was frustrating trying to find somewhere to park and then fine the entrance to this hotel. After checking in (very friendly) I had a minor problem with the room (central power switch faulty) so had to change rooms. Getting the attention of the bar staff was difficult apart from the one barman who actually was effective and friendly. The breakfast was a bit "weak" and again not up to the usual standard. Not bad, just no gloss, could do better.

just back from a fab weekend at the premier inn....this hotel has not been open long . The rooms are well furnished..very comfy beds, clean room with flat screen tv.
The real bonus with this hotel is the bar and restaurant with excellent food and bar prices. The downstairs area is furnished to a high standard and is very welcoming.Breakfast is plentiful for £8.25 there is a good selection of continental including yogurts, cereals and crossiants....cooked breakfast can be ordered where you can opt for whatever takes your fancy..............we used the hotel as a base for a trip to London...........the 2 nights were booked on a premier inn cheap offer £29 per room per night............fantastic value for money.....you can glimpse horses on the gallops as well from some bedroom windows......go on give it a go you won't be disappointed!!!!!

An unexpected change in travel plans meant that we were walk-in guests at Newmarket Premier Inn. The tariff was very high (GBP86) - but that's our bad luck.
It was quite difficult to find the entry to reception. We didn't know where to park and eventually entered through the restaurant.
Travelling with my young son made it difficult to get our luggage from the car to the hotel. We had to park at the short stay carpark across the street. Entry to reception was up a flight of stairs - the disabled access (lift) was locked.
We were kindly helped by another guest.
Reception service was good and knowledgeable and we were given a choice of rooms.
We had an excellent large room (202).

Room Tip: We had a corner room that was a little larger (202)

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the PI Newmarket and found the staff to be friendly & helpful, especially changing our room when our young son was ill last night. I loved watching the horses training through the restaurant window at breakfast, and the kids were able to relax and play in our spacious family room. We would be happy to return here when the special offers come available online. Big thanks to the staff who looked after us, particularly the lovely Thai cleaning ladies, and Rachel from Reception.

Stayed in the Premier Inn in Newmarket for a family get together. The hotel was lovely, very clean and the food was very good.

Some people say they had trouble with the parking but we went on a Saturday and the multi-storey opposite is free after 5pm on Saturday and all day Sunday so we did not have any problem, and it is only 2 mins from the hotel (just across the road).

The breakfast was well worth ordering, cooked fresh, and as much as you can eat. All the coffee and tea was kept topped up just what you need after a late night the night before.

I would have no hesitation in staying here again. All I would say is that, the earlier you can book the better price per stay you pay.

The staff in the hotel were great and made sure our stay was pleasurable.

Room Tip: Our room was on the front of the hotel and on the first floor but did not hear a thing.
