We stayed here for two nights and were impressed by the helpful staff and clean rooms.
The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Would highly recommend to others. Newmarket is a lovely town and you can see lots of horse racing!

We attended a dinner at the hotel. Service was very good, food likewise, and there was plenty of space for dancing after the meal and speeches.

We stayed here overnight in a deluxe room for an anniversary treat, as soon as you arrive the splendor of the hotel hits you, we arrived early but our room was ready and they let us check in the staff were very helpful and informative, the facilities excellent we used the leisure club and again staff there were excellent. In the evening we had a meal in the restaurant and the food was first class we couldnt have asked for more, the waiters and waitressess were very attentive, breakfast again was delicious the scrambled egg and smoked salmon was something else. Will definately be staying there again and would recommend

My husband, daughter and I stayed for one night on 31 March. The rooms are of a reasonable standard but unfortunately the reception did not inform us upon booking that the hotel was also a venue for a wedding on the same night. We were woken at midnight by the noise of the music and this continued until 01:00 and thereafter we were kept awake by noisy wedding guests returning to their room.
The food in the restaurant is of a high standard but unfortunately the staff are not up to standard in some of the finer levels of service, for example, collecting plates before all guests at the table had finished eating. The officious nature of the restaurant manager is not what you would expect in the hospitality trade and he would possibly benefit from the understanding of the simple statement of the fact that "guests are paying his wages".

Stayed here for 1 night in a nice room which was clean, comfortable, with a good quality bed and well equipped bathroom. Hotel rooms are plain and modern and have all the bits you need tv, internet, tea, coffee etc. Hotel is with in wlaking distance of Town. Swimming pool of a good size but the whole leisure area could do with a spruce up and some money spending on it. We were woken up at 1am by noisy wedding guests who should have been told to be quiet. Did let reception know who said they would deal with. Breakfast average for a 4 star hotel
Reception area spacaious and the hotel caters for conferences etc
We paid £99 b and b in march which was a good deal - personally would not think £170 plus per night would be worth it in high season!

Stayed at Bedford Lodge for one night booked as a surprise by hubby. Managed to get the night including breakfast for just over £100, great value for money. Service was excellent, there was a wedding going on too but or never altered the service. Staff were polite and friendly. Had dinner in Squires restaurant, it wasn't cheap but very tasty. Rooms where clean and very spacious only thing I would say was our room had a musty smell as though it needed airing out. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

I stayed in this hotel with my husband as we were both working away from home and wanted to reduce our driving time on Monday morning.

Everything about this hotel was lovely.

We were welcomed by a very friendly and efficient member of staff.

The room was very nicely decorated and had everything that we needed , including delicious biscuits on the coffee tray. The bed was very comfortable, with very clean, cotton bedding.

The bathroom was immaculate. It was small but perfectly appointed, lots of hot water too.

We had eaten a large lunch, so didn’t eat in the restaurant. However, we did have a drink in the bar, where the staff were very friendly and helpful. The wine was good value and served in lovely glasses, always a plus point.

Breakfast was delicious and swift and served by another very friendly staff member.

We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
