We went on what I think was the first day they opened. There was a real buzz of customers and a good selection of home made cakes plus a choice of coffees and teas. The twist was that there are beautiful knitting yarns and accessories for sale and also that customers are encouraged to sit and knit whilst having their refreshments. Classes are also available for those of us who don't knit and in case anyone thinks it is exclusively a ladies only occupation, they are fully inclusinve and offered to show us two men how to knit. Interestingly my friend's Father used to knit in the 1960s. The yarns are superb and they alone make one want to be able to knit although personally I ought to know how to sew on a button first! It is a fun, vibrant place and promises to bring another dimension to the tea, coffee and snacks offering in Lavenham. Well worth a visit.
