With a party of 5 we enjoyed our meal and drinks with beer and wine for under £25/head. The restaurant was busy after the Bury Christmas Festival in Town but the service was excellent - the waiting staff and owner all had a ready smile and good people person manner. They seemed rushed but still gave us excellent service. The beer sampler was very good. The food was a good standard Brasserie experience, the whitebait starter was a bit on the small size but a lovely mayonnaise, the game pie was full of meat and very tasty - could have done with a bit of gravy on the side and some form of carbohydrate included. The brulee was more like a chocolate mouse/fudge but was tasty. A good time had by all and we would go again.
The small downside is that we were by the side exit door and it was quite off putting seeing people come in and out and dragging the wet weather in whilst eating and also we were by the waiters station so a lot of noisy activity (cleaning cutlery and dropping into trays) going on.
