We arrived to find a nice welcoming pack waiting for us. The house was delightful. All appliances were suitably labelled with necessary instructions. The house contained everything that anyone would need. Although not needed by us, there were plenty of activities and toys/games for kids. A large garden and patio area allowed us to have a barbecue during the hot weather. The inside areas were spotlessly clean and tidy. The bungalow is deceptively large with 2 lounges and a brilliant dining/conservatory area. Christine was pleasant, helpful and informative. The location was ideal for us, a mere £7 taxi ride away from the centre of the beautiful Bury St Edmunds. A nice pub is only 300 yards away, serving good ales and excellent food. We were a similar distance away from Kettles Farm fishery in Rattlesden, where we spent 5 days fishing. Unbelievable fishing. Thanks to Wylene, we all agreed, this was the best venue we have been to in the last 5 years, for our annual fishing trip. I would recommend this holiday home to anybody.

We were 2 families and this house was perfect for us, large enough so we could have our own space but with big enough rooms for us all to be together with plenty of space. It is a well equipped, very comfortable and Christine the manager is very helpful. It is also situated well to explore the surrounding area. The pub at the end o the road does good food at a good price, if that's something you look for.

Stunning property. Well equipped. Everything is of high standard. Perfect for disabled/less mobile guests. The only complaint I have is that I had to come home. I definitely recommend this property.

This was an ideal place for my family for Christmas as we have a disabled older lady who was delighted with the facilities. On arrival we were welcomed by an array of Christmas lights and a large tree all lit-up in the living room. It felt like we were at home!

Each room is well equipped, especially the kitchen, the beds and seating extremely comfortable. Pets are welcome and there is even a supply of towels. The smaller separate snug is useful as a getaway from the younger generation or vice versa. The sound bar for the tv or i-pod added to the high quality of equipment.

The owner Mrs Whitton is very helpful and considerate, going out of her way to make sure all is well.
