Well worth a visit. Hidden gem. Lakes look mystical especially near sunset. Path can be a bit uneven. Great for picnics!!!

Lackford Lakes are a hidden treasure for anyone in the area. If you're interested in bird watching then there's a great range of hides and footpaths that lead around the 8 lakes. The sailing lake by the car park is brilliant for amateur sailors, and the activities that the wardens run during school holidays are a fantastic way to keep the kids occupied. The shop sells snacks and a range of gifts as well.
