Excellent tour and value for money. Our tour guide John (or SIR John as we like to call him) was very knowledgeable both about the brewery and Bury st Edmunds. Would recommend this to everyone. But most impressive of all sir John allowed us to partake of copious amounts of the ale at the end!

We visited the Greene King Brewery last week and had a fantastic morning and couldn't recommend it enough. The tour guide, Susan, was friendly, welcoming and very entertaining and a fun time was had by all. After our interesting tour of the brewery we visited the bar for a tasting session which went down very well with everyone who was also on the tour! As well as the many wonderful beers we also got to sample delicious Greene King marmalade and chutney.

Visitors do need to be fairly fit and able to manage fairly steep staircases - some of which have open treads. The physical exercise required is well worth it, however, when you get to see the views from the roof of the building right across the historic town of Bury St Edmunds and beyond.

Thank you, Susan, for a highly entertaining tour !!

A good tour with history lessons thrown in, Brighton Rock connection etc. The sampling at the end was fun and enjoyable. Nice bar, great beer and some tasty snacks. I would recommend the marmalade!
