It's really more of an Indian restaurant, rather than a curry house. The ginger, cumin, coriander, chilli and garlic etc are all applied with care, and the dishes taste like plates of food rather than bowls of curry. Physically, it's not the most enchanting of places, but I can't remember having a more interesting and enjoyable Indian meal outside the very best in Birmingham.

My family and myself ate here on Christmas Day, after visiting various times before and they never dissapoint. Fantastic and very friendly service, reasonable price, lovely interior and delicious food, what more could you ask for? Highly recommend.

Wonderful friendly service. Fantastic food. Very reasonable price. The waiter even remembered what dishes my partner and I had on a previous visit. By far the best Indian restaurant in Bury St Edmunds.

Modern decorated, and very busy restaurant with many tables on two floors. The kitchen can be fully viewed from a window in the main seating area and it looks spotless however, given the number of tables, is inadequately sized and staffed and this soon became obvious.

I received nicely prepared and cooked - but by no means exceptional - starter of samosa and chicken lababda main (which I was informed came with saffron rice) but there was way too long a wait for each course to arrive. Completely disjointed service from several waiters; all were young and smart in appearance but, I'm sorry to say, came across being a little smug and detached. All requests for drinks were dealt with very, very slowly (except when staff were reminded) with one drink never arriving.

Could be a great restaurant with the right resources. Currently no where near as good as the staff seem to think.
