We booked in at Kiln Farm as we were attending my sisters 25th Wedding Anniversary in Elmswell. We could not have done better. The service and attentiveness by Dave & Jan is second to none. The rooms are very homely, clean and more "extra's" than you can imagine. Then to top it we asked for an evening meal and it was superb.
Many thanks for the kind hospitality, the excellent service and food from the bar and kitchen on Friday and the most excellent full English on both Saturday and much needed on Sunday. We will be back

Room Tip: It won't matter as they are all excellent

We arrived early afternoon to be welcomed by Dave, shown our room and then treated to tea and cakes.

The double room was lovely, with its own kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Bowls of chocolates (soon to be empty bowls), Twix and Kit Kat were provided in the room and topped up each day! The breakfasts were excellent.

Dave and Jan are a lovely couple, very sociable and helpful about local places to visit and pubs at which we could find food on a Sunday. It was as though we were stayiong with friends.

We stayed there two nights and will stay there again the next time we are in the area.

Our stay at Kiln Farm Guest House was truly wonderful from the moment of arrival to our good byes. Both the owners Jan and Dave could not have done better. It was very relaxing; the only problem we could find, was leaving to come home, as we didn’t wish to go home. Our room Number Nine was a family room (two bedrooms one with a double and the other with a twin) lovely clean and spacious with an onsuit toilet and Jacuzzi bath! Our rooms contained everything one could desire. Our all needs were answered without a problem, with a happy manner and warm smile. We were offered and enjoyed a tray of tea, coffee and cold drinks on our arrival, set in the court yard of the farm house in the warm sunshine. The following morning, the breakfast was first class and we were told that there was no need to rush away that morning. We long to return very soon. Ample parking to the rear of the farmhouse on gravel area with a mowed field beyond for the use of the caravan club. Life swap please!

A lovely and spotlessly clean bed and breakfast off the beaten track - very secluded and peaceful. Dave and Jan are the perfect hosts, the room was comfortably and with a great selection of teas, coffees and soaps. Breakfast was delicious and made to our individual preference to the smallest details. We felt very at home and will return - highly recommended.

We arrived at Kiln Farm Guest House (after a little difficulty locating it but a village resident pointed us in the right direction) not knowing what to expect as I'd been unable to find any reviews for it - hence this one.

We were very warmly welcomed by Dave and Jan and treated to tea and home made cake in the conservatory and from that moment our stay was a complete pleasure. Our room - which was clearly a family room -was therefore amply big enough for the two of us and was comfortably furnished with an eclectic collection of items. It even had a very well equipped mini kitchen for those on a longer stay than us who might have wanted to do a bit of self catering. The large bathroom had a Jacuzzi bath, heaps of soft fluffy towels and the biggest selection of toiletries I've ever seen! Most importantly everywhere was absolutely spotlessly clean.

Dave and Jan gave us a list of recommended dining places in the local area and they also had a huge selection of leaflets and brochures for places we could visit in the region.

Breakfast was just wonderful –we had been asked the night before what we would like and not being lovers of “The Full English” we had asked for just scrambled eggs on toast. When we arrived the next morning we found the most wonderful fresh fruit salad, more cereals than I knew were made and a huge plate of smoked salmon to accompany our eggs! How’s that for going the extra mile!

Dave and Jan’s warm welcome, their clear dedication to the comfort of their guests, the cleanliness of the place and its peaceful rural location all go to make Kiln Farm a Guest House worth a visit for anyone staying in Suffolk.
