Perfect holiday home with everything you would need. Great location for visiting Aldeburgh, Thorpeness and Southwold. I am unsure whether this property meets fire regulations as when smoke detector went off in adjoining bungalow ours went off too. Walls are very thin and we could hear the people staying next door.
The cottage is nicely fitted out with matching crockery etc. It is very peaceful, the only sounds being the birds. It is well positioned to visit the surrounding towns. Aldeburgh is very close and well worth visiting. it has some very nice restaurants at varying prices.
The only criticism is that the garden furniture is in need of replacement and some comfortable garden chairs would have been a bonus. The weather was very good but there was no where comfortable to sit in the garden, which is very nicely planted out with some lovely shrubs.
The cottage is in a quiet location with a secluded garden, but within 5 mins walk of the local pub. It is well placed for visiting Aldeburgh, Southwold, Minsmere and many other places of interest. We liked having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and in general it's got plenty of space, and was clean and comfortable. However, while the kitchen is large there is very little work surface for preparing meals. A few minor things didn't work (eg a lamp in the lounge), and the TV remote control buttons bore little relationship to the actual channels.
