Great lunch, well priced and good service. Very nice menu with lots of options to choose from.
Lovely to see the Dog getting back to it's best!

Thank Hayleyjm

Stopped by for Sunday lunch with my wife and a lively two year old, and was pleasantly surprised at the restaurant, the range of food, the very friendly attentive staff and the prices.
While the business is not really set up for kids (no ball pit. Which is not a bad thing) the staff cold not have been more friendly, offering a booster seat and crayons.
When the food came it was nicely presented, tasty and hot.

All in all, a really positive experience.
PS Sorry about not tipping (if the staff read this) but I thought my wife had money and I'd already paid on my card and it's one of those occasions where 42pence would have been insulting. We will return and we will tip. Sorry.

I must say - don't waste your time and money going here, you won't get a table unless you have booked even if the place is empty. There are no specials available!, the menu has been vastly reduced and things are not available. They turn people away left right and centre even when the place is empty. No one can change a barrel and there is no one in charge (certainly no one looks like they are)! The way the food is advertised makes you think it is fresh and home cooked it is not it is brought in frozen as one of the staff told me, as that was the reason I could not have one of the items requested, and this was also given as the reason for no specials. The food is expensive considering the quality is limited. There are better pubs out there, his is not some where to eat!

My self and my partner came in for a meal Boxing Day. It was very busy and the staff were flat out.

Food arrived quick, service was great, overall very happy and will be back in the new year.

Very memorable experience.

Had to take a different route because the Stafford stretch of the M6 was snarled up (again). Meandered along the A38 and used an app to find lunch. Lovely pint of Mad Goose Pale Ale together with a good bargain lunchtime menu. We had fish & chips (mushy peas - hurrah!), scampi and a decently filled sandwich. All good (not fresh but at these prices can't grumble). Not the full 5 stars because of the wait, though to be fair they were busy.
