Perfect for our overnight stay for Alton Towers. Clean and well decorated room at a great price. TGI's was across the road, although a brewers Fayre was attached to the hotel itself but we chose TGI. We also chose breakfast in Sainsbury's as the Brewers Fayre seemed expensive.

As a family of 4 we stayed at this hotel on Sunday 27th May. On this occasion it was one of the worst hotel stays ever!!
The fire alarm went off at 1am after a false alarm, guests returned to their rooms, however the alarm went off a further 2 times.
The hotel staff did not have a clue on protocol for a fire alarm and did not even ask guests to evacuate.
The fire alarm panel was then disabled which meant after guests returned to their rooms they were not protected in the event of a genuine fire. This is scandalous! to prove this, the lifts were still out of action the following morning at 9am, an example of the fire alarm system still be isolated.

We the recent events of catastrophic consequences, the M.D. of premiere Inn should instructed a full investigation regarding this, as this could have quite easily have turned into a fatality(s).

I will never stay in a premier inn again!!!

Hello David.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback.

We would like to sincerely apologise for the disruption caused by the fire alarms. This was due to an attempted break in, at the Brewers Fayre restaurant next door.

If you haven't done so already, you can submit feedback to have your stay considered for compensation under our Good Night Guarantee on our website.

It is concerning to hear that you felt team members were unprepared for this situation and your felt the fire alarm system was disabled. This is somethign we would like to rectify quickly and will be raising this with the hotel manager.

An investigation is already in process regarding this incident so please be assured we take the safety and security of our guest very seriously when staying with us.

Kind regards,

Josh

Well placed for doing the pottery experiences of the area and only a short walk from the centre of Hanley. Don't follow the satnav otherwise you will end up in the Tesco carpark. Carry on Etruia road and the entrance to the cark park is jus past the restaurant. Friendly staff and standard premier rooms.

Easy to get to, good food, lovely staff. Room super comfy and super clean too. We normally stay in a more local hotel but have been disappointed with the standard lately. Will definitely it’s be doing Premier Inn in future
