Visited for a working lunch, group of 7, ordered cold sandwiches and portions of chips. Took over an hour to arrive. Several times we had to ask where our food was, each time we were fobbed off saying it would be next, yet we sat and watched other customers who had come in after us all receive their food first. One of our party even left before the food arrived due to the long wait. Even after all the wait food was mediocre and definately not worth the massive wait.

Have to wait ages to be served at the bar too, this place seriously needs some more staff.
Only one member of staff who seemed to be working in both the kitchen and bar.

Pie and a pint after work, what could be better, I'll tell you order it here at the Glebe, the beer is great try the slumbering monk, ,
The welcome is first class, we often add a Stilton cheese order with our pie and pint.

Don't forget live music to...... But not on a Sunday

Makes working on a Sunday a treat...... Well almost.

Went here to eat and spent all night in the toilet. Was not a busy night. Staff are not that helpful, and there was no Soap in the toilets!

The Glebe is a lovely little pub. Quite an historic pub in the centre of Stoke. Glebe means "Belonging to the Church". The oub is directly opposite the large church and has beautiful stained glass windows. The menu is varied and is reasonably priced. Food is lovely and homemade. Nice for a lunctime snack .

lovely pub - great local food, wide range of well priced beers and ciders. great live music - and other regular themed nights. fills a gap in the market - a traditional pub with an upbeat atmosphere
