“Calamari over cooked”
Reviewed January 28, 2014 via mobile

Came in on Sunday night with 6 friends. Food was ok. Service from the polish waitress was top notch always asking if we were ok or if we needed anything. Calamari was overcooked and stuck together so just had a few and left it. After going outside with friends while they had a fag break I managed to get the lamp shade impaled into my head after standing up the step n not realising there was a lamp there with sharp spikes coming off the bottom. Maybe they shud be removed or filed down

Thank denand

“Unflavoured Food”
Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

Six of us had dined in here over the Christmas period.
In all fairness we were disappointed, although the atmosphere and ambience is amazing, the christmas music especially catching the ear well. The food was not so goood.
I ordered a king prawn starter and it was lightly flavoured however the salad accompanying it was too strong. It didnt compliment it well.

For mains I ate a salman steak with chips and found the steak of salmon to be very bland. The pasto sauce was not flavoured and did not live up to the 14 pound price.

As we did not drink we had soft drinks, our bill came to 174 pound with three courses and three soft drinks each. We found this to be expensive for a restaurant which isn't a fine dining italian.

“Great food, Great service and even better music”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

We went down to Stoke on Trent for my little girl’s birthday trip to Alton towers and we stayed in the queens moat house about 5 mins walk from the restaurant.
On the first night we decided not to eat in the hotel and adventure out to the local retail park where we saw Frankie & Benny's so we thought as a treat for my little girl we would take her there. WOW what a great place to eat and drink they were so helpful offered us a table straight away food was so yummy and good value for money, we were served by a lad called Tom who could not do enough for us made us feel welcomed and not to over friendly. After finishing our meal we were so impressed that we booked for the second night and once again served by Tom and again the meal was amazing, Thanks very much Frankie & Benny’s, Tom and team.
(Don’t listen to all the other moaners their only after a freebee.)

“Lost its appeal”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Customer service was terrible, they seem to change their front of house staff regularly. The food has taken a nose dive over recent years which is a shame as it started off so well. The portion sizes have also decreased and there is only so much Cliff Richard and "Congratulations" you can bear during a meal...

“nice food but overpriced”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

good family atmosphere and quick on service, well that said taking your order and what you want drink. After this food given and little or no interaction. Quite happy to take your money and forget you. For what you can have eat, it is quite expensive and not what i would call value for money
