We stayed at the hotel as a stop over whilst visiting Alton Towers. First impression were great the hotel is clean and welcoming, the staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival.
We travelled with our two children so purposefully booked the hotel as it mentioned that children would have individual beds and not a sofa bed to share. we were pleasantly suprised that not only did we have a large double and bunk beds, but also loads of space, there was a small round table with two chairs, and a large tv. Also had kettle and coffee/tea with a good size cup which is just what we needed after a long day at alton towers.
The room had additional blankets and pillows so there was no need to call reception as we normally find ourselves doing. Personally I found the bed a bit hard and had a disturbed night sleep, but my husband and children all said they slept well.
Breakfast was really nice and there was plently of choice with something for everyone, they even supplied cups to take a coffee away with us for our journey.
We were too late to make use of the pool which was a shame, hopefully it wil lbe open when we visit again, which I am sure we will.More
