This B & B is excellent. We stayed here for one night for our son's wedding at the Ashes. The owners Chris and Reg are very friendly and helpful and the lift to and from The Ashes was VERY much appreciated. The rooms are beautiful, well-equipped with tea/coffee/biscuits. The breakfast was excellent - all appetites catered for. Everything about this small hotel was efficient with nothing too much trouble. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Stayed for one night whilst attending a wedding at The Ashes.
We were in room 1 the family room – clean, comfortable & spacious enough for two adults & a teenager.
Great tea & coffee making facilities with biscuits included.
The lift to and from the venue was a lovely touch & was included in the price.
The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes.
Great stay, lovely owners, would recommend Westfields to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

We stayed her for a family wedding at the Ashes.. First and foremost the welcome was warm and very friendly, the rooms were very clean, with tea and coffee facilities. Tv and sky. Chris and Reg took us and picked us up from the wedding venue. Great bonus. We had breakfast menu sheets to fill in so Chris was ready and waiting in the morning with our breakfast.. Which was well needed.. Creat choice of healthy breakfast was also on offer but the unhealthy was needed xx great place would recommend to anyone who is looking for B and B in this area stop here xxx xx the Alexander's room 3 x

Room Tip: I seen in all the rooms except for room 2 and ( this is because it was 4 lots of our family staying...

We stayed at this wonderful B&B for only 1 night but Reg and Chris have left us with very good memories. A friendly welcome, lovely room with tea coffee and biccies, a very comfy bed, lift to and from a friends wedding at the Ashes and after I heard some very upsetting news their compassion and TLC were second to none.
The breakfast was vast and beautifully cooked and presented. I would highly reccommend to all.

Room Tip: All rooms lovely with nice en-suite

We recently stayed at Westfields while attending a wedding reception at the Ashes.
Chris and Reg are very gracious hosts and nothing is too much trouble.

They offer a lift to the ashes venue and also pick you up at the end of the night, you could walk it but on a very cold February night the waiting car was a very warm welcome :-)

Westfields itself is a lovely house, all the rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with most things you would need. Being a large old house it is going to be hard to keep it warm but provision of a convector heater and heated blanket for the bed soon warmed things up :-)

Breakfast in the morning was lovely possibly the best hotel breakfast we've had, with everything you'd want and the single table laid out for all guests was a nice touch.

All in all Westfields is a lovely B & B for anyone looking to stay in the area.

We needed somewhere to stay over the New Year for my wife's mother's 80th birthday. Westfields is just around the corner and was the ideal spot for overnight accommodation for the family party. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts were exactly that, welcoming and hospitable and the breakfast was excellent. The accommodation worked out at about £35 per person per night. You would pay more in a chain hotel and get far less for the money. I would not hesitate to go back to Westfields if I needed to.

Booked into this delightful b and b with other family members whilst attending a wedding at The Ashes. Lovely old house very tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms with en-suite shower and complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee + biscuits, flat screen tv. Chris gave us a lift to the venue, and Reg came for the return journey which was a very welcome touch as was included in the price and saved a taxi fare. Both Chris and Reg very friendly and accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast the next morning was pre ordered the night before, a great selection, nicely presented and very enjoyable. Prompt e mail correspondence prior to our visit. An extremely pleasant stay and would thoroughly recommend.
