Good valu for money, clean cosy rooms, home made english breakfast, quiet surrounding - I was happy with my stay! Approx 15 min walk from Stoke-on-Trent train station, taxi costs appr 3-4 pounds.

A clean comfortable B&B with that little extra that gives a home from home feel. I stayed here for nearly 3 months Monday-Friday while working in the area. Alyson and Trevor do an excellent job and clearly care about their guests with nothing too much trouble . All the little extras both in the bathroom and on the tea tray together with a fridge in the room made my long stay both enjoyable and easy. My fridge was large enough to store my weeks shopping (sorry Alyson I know you didn't like my carrier bags - private joke !!!) to make my own lunches for work and my tea. Bottled water, tea, coffee, etc and biscuits all supplied daily which is very welcome after a days work to relax with whilst watching the wallmounted flat screen TV. Trevor does an excellent job as head
breakfast chef, gardener, odd job man etc and Alyson as waitress, receptionist, cleaner, housekeeper and business manager - both good at multitasking I must say!! Beds made daily and rooms made up just as you would find it on
arrival. Towels always look nice and white and fluffy. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and quite sad to leave. Would definitely recommend to others wanting a good quality clean B&B that provides an excellent breakfast too.

It all began in August 2007 when my son and I visited Staffordshire University Open Day and stayed overnight at Kenwood Guest House. We had a great welcome from day one.
Then September 2008 came and University life at Staffordshire University began! We visited Stoke on Trent many times during these three years. We would do the bringing and collecting every term plus visit with family. Each time we stayed at Kenwood Guest House Alyson would always accomodate us and make us feel comfortable. Our stays ended with Graduation in July 2011! We will miss our visits to Stoke on Trent, the pottery shops and our stays at Kenwood Guest House. It is certainly the cleanest, most comfortable and best value Guest House we have ever stayed in.

Room Tip: From thje singles to the doubles to the family rooms, you really cannot go wrong. Spotlessly clean...

Recently spent 2 nights at this bed and breakfast and having stayed at a number of similar establishments in the area can easily see why its rated number 1 in Stoke.
The hotel was very quiet, despite it being full, and the single en-suite room very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was very more than adequate and set you up nicely for the day.
Situated in the 'University' area of the town, there are plenty of take-aways nearby should you need something to eat in the evening but the area is sadly lacking should you need a refreshment of the liquid kind, as the nearest pub is boarded up and for sale.,

Enjoyed our 7 nights at this B&B, Alyson and her partner do a great job looking after the rooms and the breakfasts, and obviously take great pride in it. The room was well equipped, with toiletries, kettle tea/coffee and biscuits, tv; ours also had a small fridge with a cold water tank and tap. The breakfast on offer is good, with a choice of cereals, orange juice, egg, sausage, bacon, hash brown, beans, tomatoes, toast, and tea/coffee. Nearby are pottery museums, canal and park, also a variety of eating places. Easy walk to the station (pick up is offered) and university. Be aware that payment on arrival is preferred (guests are welcome to view the room first); this does avoid the hassle when leaving. Felt very welcome and looked after, overall an excellent place to stay – thanks Alyson and partner!

If ever you think mmhhh should we go then I would say YES. This B&B is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is so clean. The breakfast was so nice and the owner Alyson was such a genuine lady. We will definately go back. Ideal place for travelling anywhere in the Midlands, Alton Towers etc. 10 Mins off the motorway. One road so easy to find.
