“A beautiful small Church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

What a beautiful little church set in the main street in Stafford. Full of history and volunteers who are only too willing to tell you all about its history. This is the oldest building in Stafford, with a history dating from the twelfth century. The parish registers date back to 1636. St. Chad was the first Bishop of Lichfield (669-672). This church, albeit it very small, is well worth a visit.

“Wonderful carvings”

One of the church wardens showed us around and pointed out all of the C12 carvings which were quite comical and beautiful. Lovely little church.

“Interesting Town Centre Church”

Worth a visit to what I think is Staffords oldest church what it lacks in architecture it makes up for in history. It is situated just off the high street
