Another visit to our favourite eating out place. Good value, even better with the current 15%off
offer voucher we used. What used to be the childrens play area ha been transformed into a
dining area, thus increasing the number of places.I have even seen this full.
I dont normally have any criticism of The Radford, however I have on this occasion:
Our visit on the Friday 15th March at about 1700 was health.to find the place about average in number and it was obvious the lady manager was not about as I know she runs a tight ship. I know she has been quite poorly of late, and I wish her a speedy return to better health. Who was managing at that time was clearly not seeing the same things as me.
Standing at the bar, with only one person serving, behind a large group of customers who could
not make their minds up what they wanted, the queue behind me started to increase and were
commenting on the situation. It is my contention that under such a situation where only one out of three tills where in use, the bar person should have sent for more staff.
Having finished our meal it was noticeable that tables were not being cleared and that staff
were not giving their full attention to the matter in hand. The prolonged untidy tables may well
deter the diner from lingering and therefore not purchase more drinks.
Not a big problem just needs supervision.
