“AMAZING!! :]”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

It is such a good place to go if you want to see true history! I would go in the summer because you can take a lovely picnic and have a proper look around! And during the winter period they have a Shakespeare play being shown last time it was Romeo and Juliet! I wonder what will be shown next :?

“Lovely walk with a good dose of history....”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Love walking our dog at the castle as there is many nooks and crannies for him to explore......It is a lovely spot in the summer or winter for walks, picnics in the summer of course and a safe place to run around while enjoying a bit of Stafford History.....Not to be missed is the annual Shakespeare festival in the summer.....

“Not sure what it does”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

Well it may have historic value and protected those who lived there but as an attraction it offers very little with nothing to see or experience I can only suggest that you take a look around when the shakespeare festival is on which is hosted on adjoing land

“Interesting and educational”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

My family and I enjoyed the small museum, especially trying on the armour.
The walk to the castle was very nice too and the castle itself is a great place for taking photos.
It's a shame the castle is so destroyed.
Kids enjoy visiting this place.

“Shakespeare”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

I really enjoyed the Shakespeare play in the open air. The castle gave it a lot of atmoshere. Although it rained heavily during the performance, the audience was kept dry under cover. However the poor actors got soaked.
