The grounds are nice but there are much nicer public parks in better countryside the house is reasonable but does not exude the history of somewhere like Chatsworth so do not expect it

“Fantastic day out”

Plenty to do, join the NT and the visits are great value for money. Good restaurant but expensive. We went for the classic car show which kept everyone amused with quite a mix of vehicles

This was always a favourite place to visit when I was a child as it was very local. Lovely grounds to walk and it used to be FOC not sure if it is now.

“The French”

Have been many times. Enjoyed being able to visit the newly opened parts of the hall. Love the setting, the farm & the easy access to the next village for a very well priced meal and drink at the pub.
