Well I never- my Grandad was in the regiment that first formed here. Very old inn retaining much character and many period details. Very friendly and helpful staff. Especially comfy in the front snug and a nice spot to people watch through the window. Excellent beer ( several real ales on offer) and delicious pub lunch. Really nice ambience.
