My husband & I stayed at Swinfen Hall Hotel on Saturday 29th September 2012, it is such a beautiful Hotel and we couldn't fault it in any way. The food was lovely, the room was excellent, the staff very friendly. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

We went to this hotel as a 2 nights midweek break and to visit the National Memorial Arboretum. The reservation was booked by phone and staff were very helpful. An impressive building from the outside and much more so from inside. We stayed in a 'Gallery Room' which was large, clean, very comfortable and had views over the Deer Park. Dinner and breakfasts were taken in the restaurant and all meals were superb. Breakfasts were traditional and dinners were modern and excellently demonstrated both the Chef's capability and originality using local ingredients - many of which were home grown. Service was faultless and the staff were very friendly, efficient and inobtrusive. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. We look forward to returning there before too long.

Room Tip: Ask for a Gallery Room with a view of the deer park

My husband and I were guests at a wedding held at Swinfen Hall, on Saturday 29th September 2012. The whole event was wonderful. The meal was superb, the wines excellent and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and did a fantastic job. I cannot recommend Swinfen Hall Hotel enough. Everyone was very professional and ensured that all the guests had a good time. The piano player in the foyer was very good, playing some lovely music. Well done to everyone involved. I would certainly recommend Swinfen Hall with its very high standards.

Grabbed a couple of nights away this week at last minute at Swinfen Hall. Fantastic old house now a luxuary hotel with service second to none. Room was large, clean and wonderfully cosey.
Ate in the dinning room first night which was alll you would expect and more from a 2 rosette establishment. and a simple bar meal on the second night was just as good.

The deer park and woodland setting make it a great place to relax and unwind, whilst beening run as enviromentally responsable as possible in an old building. we will return soon no doubt.

We stayed two nights at this beautiful country house hotel for a family wedding that was held there. The accommodation was a very high standard with traditional period style furnishings in the bedroom and a modern shower cabinet etc in the ensuite bathroom. All rooms are individual and vary considerably in size so you need to make your requirements known. What impressed us most was the excellent service - all requests were met very quickly, efficiently and with a smile!

Room Tip: You need to be able to climb stairs as this country house hotel has no elevator. The view is of the...

I booked this venue for my boss's retirement event. It was fantastic. The setting is lovely, driving down the road in the grounds to reach the hall. We had around 100 guests and had a buffet meal, with both hot and cold food. Food was excellent, and the staff cleared away so quickly and efficiently, we barely noticed that they were there! Same efficienty applied to getting drinks and serving teas and coffees. They organised the tables so that there was no queue for food! We had fireworks and booked their DJ. The staff worked so hard with us so that we could arrange a presentation with the use of a projector and use their facilities for sound and power with the fireworks. It rained (sadly) but they even had some umbrellas to hand. The DJ was brill - nothing was too much trouble for him! The event was seamless, with all my email queries dealt with instantly. I cannot fault the whole evening. Some guests stayed the night and the rooms were lovely with everything that you needed (loved the soft quilts and pillows!). This was my first time organising such an event and I am delighted we used Swinfen as it made my job less stressful! Thanks to all involved. You worked so hard.

Room Tip: Ask for a plan so that you can see the size and location. All rooms are lovely - I saw a range from...

A few weeks ago I attended a wedding at Swinfen Hall with my wife and two young children, one of whom is 8 months old. Our room was setup exactly as requested with a camp bed and space for our travel cot. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we were made to feel very welcome.

Checking in and out of the hotel was a breeze. It literally took two minutes....many hotels can learn from such a simple process.

The food we ate at the wedding breakfast was very good quality if only two of us had been dining, let alone replicating the same standard for the 80 people who were there. Breakfast the following morning was equally as tasty.

Swinfen is surrounded by countryside yet easy to reach from Birmingham. There is ample parking in the grounds.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swinfen Hall - a very relaxing stay in a great room, with superb service that is attentive without being over bearing. I can't think of anything the hotel could do better. Keep up the great work.
