Stayed at At John's House and found it a fantastic place.
We stayed in the Garden Room so had outside space.
The room was well equipped with some lovely touches e.g. coffee machine and fresh milk left in the fridge.
Breakfast was excellent with a brilliant choice of fresh fruit and cooked also homemade granola and marmalade.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
A brilliant place to stay and if we are in the area we will certainly come back.

A beautifully restored and pristine grade II listed Georgian building awaits you in the very heart of the city centre.
The most luxurious bedding and fluffiest bathroom towels add to the feeling of total relaxation and comfort. Proper keys (none of those daft plastic swipe cards) and even fresh milk in your in room fridge as opposed to those ghastly UHT sachets that squirt milk everywhere but in the cup. Bathrobe and slippers really shows the small details have been looked at in depth.
Everything in the room was top end, ironing board, iron and room fan where all there as there was a good range of Twining Teas as well as coffee and hot chocolate for a night time drink or early morning cuppa.
Breakfast was another five out of five with high quality bacon and sausages all cooked to perfection.
This is now my choice of accommodation when I stay over in Lichfield after a night at the theatre

Room tip: Rooms in the stables at the rear of the main building are a little quieter and overlook the courtyard and garden

When looking for a hotel in Lichfield, look no further than St.Johns House, trust me it doesn’t exist.

Great hotel, amazing rooms ( Dan very kindly upgraded us to a suite) arguably the most comfortable hotels bed I’ve ever slept in, topped off by a great breakfast - I can recommend scrambled egg with smoked salmon.

Enjoy, we did and look forward to visiting again

The rooms are exceptional and unique the building is a beautiful period property with fabulous facilities to have a great time. We hired the hotel to celebrate my daughters 30th Birthday and filled it with friends and family.
