A lovely family pizzeria with great fresh food, it's run like a family home and makes you think your in Italy. Sometimes theyd rather chat to you than get your order in, but that's what makes it fun. Grandmother always has something she has just made for you to try. Dough ball starters with rosemary and garlic and the quatro stagioni are a must, with there one made chilli oil., they have bottles of Peroni grand reseva and some decent house wines + great home made ice cream from there cafe over the road. avoid the generic joints and go to the real thing.

We had fish and chips and burger and chips here. I can only hope their pizza is better. The chips were very poor and the burger dreadful dry and not very tasty. The fish was only okay very greasy. I guess there expertise is Pizza. Don't bother with the fish and chips. Go to Georgie's plaice the chips here are the best I have ever eaten and great portions.

The extended Raso family has interest in the pizzeria, the fish and chip shop next door, and the Bar Italia across the road, where Frankie makes his own ice cream and does great Paninis at lunchtime.
Good selection of pizzas in three sizes, made to order on the spot. They like to introduce new flavours, sometimes influenced by their regular customers.
Closed on Sunday evenings, which is unfortunate in the summer, as a pizza in the evening after a day out of doors is always welcome.

Not the most appealing pizzeria from the street view, and the tables are a bit canteen like, but be put off by these and you will miss very good hospitality from an italian family who run the place and serve great pizza. It was full and we struggled to get a seat. The word is out!
