We went to Cafe Romna last night as a treat for my son's birthday.

Good points:- Service is top notch, friendly and very professional. Food - absolutely wonderful, light and fluffy yet crispy Naan breads, Chicken Korma to die for, scrummy egg fried rice and an extremely tasty King Prawn Masala. The sauces were all beautiful and not all heavy like some can be. Atmosphere/decor - all good, nice lighting, music right and nicely busy for a Wednesday night.

Bad points:- Toilets are in dire need of updating, drinks pricey.

We would definitely eat here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Been to Romna many times over the past few years. Always very good food and reasonably priced. The service is usually very good but don't go around sunset during Ramadan! That was the only time they were ever slow.

This indian restaurant is not the cheapest I have been to but the food is delicious. I had a mixed biryani, my husband had a lamb dopiaza. We had poppadums and pickles to start. The food was fresh, well-garnished, and very tasty. The flavours were delicate, and the food was not greasy.

We debated whether to go in as the place was empty but it did fill up a bit later on. We had the usual poppadom & dips to start with, perfectly acceptable. My chickent tikka masala main was very, very sweet and had about five small pieces of chicken in it. My partner's tandoori mied grill was nothing exceptional. One bottle of tiger beer, one diet coke and two coffees and a bill over £40. Quite expensive for an average meal.
