We are not believers in any religion, but like to visit such places for the sheer majesty on show. This truly is a majestic building. A donation is requested but NOT insisted on. If you want to take photo's there is a small fee of £3, but there is plenty to photograph. We would highly recommend the cathedral as a place well worth a visit.

Excellent guided tour. The 'scissor arches' and clock are 'must sees'. We were lucky to get a very informative guided tour, and to experience evensong and a lunchtime concert

Evensongs are divine. Marvellous stone staircase to chapter house. Lovely gardens. The clock is fascinating with the moving horsemen knocking each other over and the little man with the two bells.

Spent the day in Wells what a lovely place to visit. The cathedral is the best I have come across in the UK beautiful windows lovely guided tour great cafe. If you take photographs you have to buy a license for £3 but well worth every penny. Would visit again.

I came with my Mother and this really was spectacular. fabulous windows. I will certainly be back. You need to purchase a licence (£3) to take photos, but it is most certainly worth it -- you won't be able to resist.
