The cottage we stayed in looked lovely when first walking in, but as soon as I went into the kitchen to make a cup of tea I noticed that all the cups, pans, plates and cutlery were dirty, so we had to clean everything before we could eat or drink. There was also a lot of cobwebs - I know that these are old country barns that have been converted but there were even cobwebs under the bed! And there were loads of spiders too I expected one or two but they were everywhere - not good if you have a phobia of them! However the location is fantastic and the town is very interesting, although my husband and I did find the people in the town a little unfriendly which made us feel a bit uncomfortable at times.
On the plus side our dog loved it and I'm sure she would give it 5 stars!
