I've just spent the weekend here with a group of friends who were all visiting a music festival in Glastonbury and it's been very nice there. The cottage has everything you need and it was nice and clean and the beds were nice and comfy. The cottage is set back from the main road and there's lovely views from the front and behind you can see the Tor and there's plenty of parking for vehicles. It took us about 20 minutes to walk into town but the path is very narrow and the road is very busy so I wouldn't recommend walking with small children or pushchairs. All 6 of us were really happy with it and will be booking again next year.
Beautiful spot - met by friendly owners and ginger cat!
We expected a picturesque cottage - from the front that is what we got, but behind was a building site! So much so that we had to keep the blinds shut all the time for privacy. Didn't appreciate the builders trying to start up machinery on Sunday morning either!
Our other major complaint is the cleanliness. Dirt and mound in shower on shower head and round taps especially. Had to get hoover out to suck up some of the spiders in bedroom before retiring! Could have done with a hoover all round and behind tv.
Tv also very dated.
Beautiful spot and cottage which could so easily be a great place to stay with a bit of time and tlc.
Friendly people. Small and delightful cottage with fun and well designed space and a wonderful view. A perfect base for our trip.
We stayed for a weekend in the cottage 5 persons from Catalonia. It's a very well equipped and located cottage at the foot of Thor of Glastonbury. An ideal setting. The attention of the owners was excellent and facilitated our stay at all times.
Wonderful cottage, clean, modern and comfy. Great view of the Tor from the skylight window. Would stay again. Tor, Wells chalice and Glastonbury town centre are all within walking distance. Perfect base for exploring Somerset.
Stayed at the Stick House Cottage at the end of October. Everything was as arranged with the owner with regard to key collection. The cottage is comfortable and has all the mod cons, one would expect in a modern holiday rental. It sits beneath the Glastonbury Tor and the view from the upstairs background is wonderful. Four of us shared the cottage and it really was a lovely stay, I am sure we'll stay again sometime because it really was that good.
My sister in law left her camera behind but the owner had sent me an email before we got home. Arrangements were made and the camera arrived a few days later. My sister in law was very impressed.
