As usual Premier Inn lived up to previous expectations. When the receptionist saw me enter with a mobility difficulty she moved us to a room nearer the entrance ... without being asked! Good quality nights sleep to boot. Had a meal in the adjacent Brewers Fayre, which as a Thursday, had as much as you can eat (3 platefuls in my case) curry night. Good value @ £6.49.

Room Tip: Has triple glazing so all rooms dhould be OK.

My partner and I stayed at the new Premier Inn in Glastonbury and would recommend it to anyone. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was just about as good as you'll get for a budget hotel.. We enjoyed a fabulous nights sleep.

Very new, on a small industrial area just between Glastonbury and Street. Comfortable, good facilities close by, pleasant staff. Convenient for Glastonbury, Clarks Village, Cheddar, Wookey etc. Lots of great places to eat in Glastonbury and Street, no need to use the adjacent family-style pub!

We stayed here recently on our way through from South Wales to Dorset. On first arriving, it appeared to be in an industrial park, but in fact it is well positioned between Street & Glastonbury - both walkable within 20 or so minutes.
It looks like a fairly new property and the rooms seemed very clean & well proportioned with all the extras you expect from Premier Inn (why no hot chocolate though? Not everyone drinks tea or coffee). The bed was very comfortable and much better than our previous night's sleep (also in a Premier Inn).
After some consideration, we concluded the location of this hotel is great.
The village of Street with the Clarks Outlet village is either a short drive (pay & display car park) or a 20 minute walk (you get a good view of Glastonbury Tor on the way) - far too much money spent there! Also, there are a few restaurants which are open later up on this site (if you don't fancy eating at the attached Brewer's Fayre - we didn't). Can't comment on the Brewer's Fayre as we didn't have dinner or breakfast there so I'll leave you to read other reviewers' experiences.
In the other direction, Glastonbury is a similar distance walk, with it's quirky shops & restaurants.
Would recommend this Premier Inn and will stay here again when we are in the area.

This new edition to the estate is well designed with some new features absent from some older properties. Warm welcome on arrival, spacious clean room, properly sound insulated, so no disturbance from the traffic which was right outside our window. Being new, the decor was in tip top condition and the bathroom was sparkling, which doesn't always happen in this range... If you have breakfast in the Brewers Fayre next door, ask for clean cutlery as they start laying breakfast tables as soon as dinner service is over. The knives, forks and spoons are covered in finger marks (not a surprise if you've watched the young lady laying the tables...)
Bar prices represent out of town location, double gin and Toni's plus a pint of ale, change from a tender included a pound coin!

Room Tip: Odd numbers face onto the A39, even ones onto the car park at rear I think

I stayed here recently on a business trip, the hotel is quite new so clean and everything worked fine. The adjacent pub is Ok but the food is left wanting something, everything is over priced, overcooked and tasteless, however the real treat lay in the early hours!
At 4 am the whole hotel was brought to life by a hoard of the great unwashed running amok in the corridors.
it was so loud and carried on for so long I had no option but to dress and go out to see what was occurring.

Needless to say I was met with a mix of ambivalence and aggression by these folk who felt they had every right to do what they were doing. It always seems strange to me that those who walk among us shouting aloud about peace and love, are the same people who then proceed to make the most noise, create hatred and bad feeling at the most unsociable of hours!

At no time did a member of staff take care of this, or even seem to be present when I went looking.
After some time the noise died down, although loud music continued for an hour in the car park. The next day, and feeling more than a little tired before my work day, I addressed the young man on reception who said they were friends of the manager and he had thought it ok to let them use a spare empty room for free!!!

I spent the rest of the day very tired but with no option but to carry on with my work task
I wasn't offered the famous Lenny Henry Good Night guarantee so this experience will live on but in future I will avoid Premier inns if I can Be Warned when staying in the area!!!!

A great addition to Glastonbury - wish it had been there earlier when I've stayed in the town -helpful staff and well appointed. As always a comfy bed. I would definitely stay there again. A great view of the Tor as well!
