This is my favorite place in Glastonbury to go for breakfast, always consistently good, nice atmosphere and great garden out the back in the summer time.

“Good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

This place has a tripadvisor recommended sign outside and so many glowing reviews already.
So, I will only add that I have been in twice eiter side of christmas and both times been very impressed. Service is a bit slow, but that just proves the food is fresh. At £6 for paninis and around £4 for very well presented belgian waffles first time and pancakes with honey and pears second time the value cant be faulted.
People are very friendly and accomodating, provided extra forks with a smile when we decided to split the dessert.
Beginning to sound like I own the place, but when you find quality, what can you do.

“Great food, wonderful waiters, view art works too”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012

Both my wife and I eat at the Lazy Gecko regularly, for breakfast, lunch and sometimes just for a coffee.
The restaurant is a family business, Dave's wife can be seen cooking in the kitchen from the cafe and all the food is totally prepared and cooked on the premises with vegetarian options enough to please a fussy vegetarian like me.
Being in the main street, it's a great place to pop in to and just relax or to have a special celebration, and like us, why not buy one of the paintings on the walls that appeal to you!

“Really delicious food,”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2012

The food here is always exceptional, I have never been disappointed and I am quite fussy when I eat out. Eaten snacks, lunches and mains here, always delicious.
A bit more pricey than some but well worth the extra couple of quid.
The staff are great but service can be slow at busy times, so allow for a leisurely lunch as it isn't great if you are on a schedule.

“Consistently excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2012

I eat here regularly - which is more than I can say for any other café in Glastonbury. The setting is pleasant, the food is fresh and of invariably high quality, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. Service can be slow, but only at a level that you'd expect for freshly cooked food. There's really nothing I can think of to criticise about this consistently excellent café.
