Description: We had a fantastic lunch here - far surpassed the other cafes in the area. They have a large and comfortable seating area with lots of tables. It should definitely be on here. Here's another link I found - must have only opened within the last year:http://www.glastonburypeople.co.uk/shopping/specialist-foods/Orangerie/business-10344766-detail/business.html

“OMG!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

I am not one to use text speak normally but OMG, once I discovered what it meant, fits the bill for this review admirably.

For me The Orangerie has always been the number one spot in Glastonbury for a coffee and cake (more of the cake later) but now it is so much better than it ever was. I really can't believe the transformation.

The Orangerie now offers some fantastic curios for sale; it is difficult to describe them all, there are so many. But they are all well worth a look, and a buy, and to have a coffee and one of Angel Hinde's delightful cakes, all of which have exotic names and quotations attached to them. It makes for fun eating and fun browsing ... and one usually comes away with a purchase.

It always was a popular venue but now it has gone to another level ... long may it continue.

“Shocked”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

I visiting as a tastecard customer. The restaurant was empty on a busy Saterday in Glastonbury which should have warned me. The service was slow and the food mediocre at best. When I spoke to the manageress about the high cost and poor quality she told me I was typical of tastecard people who all wanted something for nothing. She was unhelpful and rude. I certainly would never return here and now understand why it was the only cafe empty at a lunchtime in Glastonbury

We visited 2 of the nights we were there, coffee and delicious cake on the first night, then home made Mojita cocktails. Staff were friendly and welcoming
