“Beautiful B&B with a friendly welcome.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2011

We stayed at Priory House for four nights in June and can highly recommend it for anyone thinking of booking. The room itself was beautiful, as was the rest of the house. Seamus & Trish were fabulous hosts and really did cater to our every need. The location is great with plenty of things in walking distance and there is secure parking at the rear of the property. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is provided in the room TV, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, toiletries. Every morning we had the most amazing breakfast which really did set us up for the rest of the day. We were always asked if we had any special requests and there was a great variety.
Would not hesitate to recommend Priory House if you are looking to stay in this area, not only are the facilities great but the hospitality really made us feel like we were staying with friends. Hoping to return in the future and would definitely stay here again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Priory House is run by Trish & Seamus Hopking. We moved to Priory House when it was first converted to a dwelling in 2008. Our first season of providing Bed & Breakfast was 2011. Priory House is half of the former St Louis Convent School, a school house built in 1926. We love the high windows and ceilings in this house - up to 12' high. They give a fantastic light and airy feeling in all the rooms. There is also a fabulous view out the front window across to the Abbey ruins - particularly the Abbott's Kitchen with its octagonal walls and roof. Glastonbury is a draw to seekers and tourists from around the world, with many events and conferences held here each year. We love meeting and sharing our home with people that have come to Glastonbury to find something special. ... more   less
