“What a superb cottage”
Reviewed October 8, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We can only agree with the previous reviewers. You will be made very welcome by the owners, Alison and Andy, who are on-site, but in no way intrusive.
The cottage is delightful, very well equipped and in a good position for visiting the area.
The cake from Mum was very well received, thank you, and it was a pleasure to meet George and Peanut (the cats). Would we recommend Priory Thatch Cottage to others--absolutely.
Thank you Alison and Andy for a very peaceful and relaxing holiday.

“Home from home in charming medieval village”
Reviewed May 22, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Ideal accommodation for two. Spotless, well equipped, fantastic garden to use and enjoy. Great hosts to make you welcome.

The High Street is only two minutes away round the corner. Lots of good eating places and fine dining, if you prefer, within easy walking distance. Quaint shops and a castle well worth spending time exploring.

Thanks Alison and Andy. Good job. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

No idea where all the other reviews are. We were very happy.

This is a lovely accommodation for two persons with a very pretty garden. The accommodation is within walking distance of Dunster, a charming mediaeval town. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. Well worth a visit.

“Perfect location for the village centre”
Reviewed December 9, 2015 for a stay in December 2015

We stayed at Priory Thatch cottage for the Dunster by candlelight weekend . The cottage is compact but spotlessly clean and comfortable with comfortable beds and quality linen and towels. Some delicious cakes make by Andy's Mum was a delicious welcome treat, he told us its a tradition! An added bonus in Dunster is parking at he cottage either in the courtyard or on the street. The position could not be bettered as it is a short stroll to shops, bars and restaurants and also the beautiful National Trust castle and working watermill. It is very quiet too in beautiful garden and no traffic noise, so a restful sleep is guaranteed!

“A perfect place to stay”
Reviewed July 20, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Priory Thatch, a perfect holiday cottage to stay in, Andy & Alison are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The cottage is well equiped, (a couple of dishes for use in the microwave would have added to the kitchen equipment) so nice to have good knives.
Lovely towels and bed linen. The layout of the cottage is very good and conveinient. A lovely garden to enjoy.
Dunster is lovely, a visit to the Castle is a must, as is a visit to the church. Dunster is a perfect place to stay to explore Exmoore.
