What a great spot to stay! Our room was spacious and spotless with a comfortable bed and a lovely view over the Dunster Castle deer park. Pete and Karen were kind and considerate hosts who go the extra mile to ensure all their guests needs are met. Breakfast was delicious with good cafetiere coffee, fresh fruit salad and good toast and jams as well as excellent cooked offerings. The only negative (which is beyond the control of Pete and Karen) is the parking situation as we had to move the car to a public or NT carpark between 10am and 6pm.
We look forward to returning.

This mill has a double mill wheel, which we had not seen before.

The building has quite a few steps to climb but is worth it.

There are different routes to the Mill from the Castle, so it is
worth checking the route which best suits you.

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit over the Xmas season, bought the flour that was used from mill using finest Canadian wheat, would definitely go back again and it's free if you are national trust member. Delightful village with shops and castle makes it a good day out

A lovely restored watermill in beautiful setting. Very interesting and full of relevant antique machinery! The attached shop sells their own ground flour and a short distance is a lovely cafe, whose staff made us very welcoming, even so it was almost closing time! We thoroughly enjoyed the cream tea!

The water mill and gardens are very special and well worth the walk from the Castle. There arr hidden games to play in the woods. The mill is working and you can buy the flower it makes. The cream tea at the little cafe is to die for.
