“Wonderful stay”
Reviewed June 26, 2019 for a stay in June 2019

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfy cottage and have already booked up again for next year. The location is ideal for lots of walks around the beautiful village and just a few doors away from a lovely pub and a restaurant. The photos don't really convey the big garden full of roses or the overall size of the house, we were very comfortable with 4 adults and a child. The cottage had everything we needed and plenty of books, games and toys, DVDs and there was a generous provision of crockery, washing powder and all the essentials. Full of character and felt very homely, we didn't want to leave. Yes if you're planning to use a car every day it could get stressful to park nearby, but there is really no need with so much to do in the village and with buses (or the steam train!) to Minehead. Thank you and we can't wait to be back next year.

“Comfortable, cosy cottage”
Reviewed June 1, 2019 for a stay in May 2019

6 of us had a very good stay here at the end of May, very comfortable & characterful cottage in the village of Dunster. Parking is a bit of an issue but we managed to find spaces up by the school or overnight on the pay & display just down the road. Lots to do in & around Dunster.... steam train, cider tour, beaches, national trust places & archery!!
A great time!

“Quaint cottage in perfect location”
Reviewed November 2, 2018 for a stay in November 2018

We loved our week in Damson cottage. Loads to do in Dunster and the surrounding area. The castle is well worth a visit and we had lovely meals in the Stags Head and the Foresters - all within walking distance.

The cottage itself is well equipped and quirky enough to feel special. The garden is amazing too although a little chilly in the last week of October.

Communications with the owners have been perfect - thank you!

“Lovely old beamed cottage in gorgeous medieval village”
Reviewed July 18, 2018 for a stay in July 2018

We had a perfect week's stay in Damson cottage with Dunster looking its picturesque best in glorious sunshine. The cottage is lovely, full of character, plenty of space for us (5 adults) and everything was spotlessly clean, well furnished and equipped, with good bedding and towels too. Patio is a real sun trap, and we loved the steeply sloping garden with views over the rooftops to the wooded hillside and castle. Caroline (the owner) was extremely helpful when I asked to move our dates by a day, despite the Holiday Lettings system not making things easy for her. Would happily book again.
