“Perfect location at a beautifully restored cottage.”
Reviewed 1 week ago for a stay in July 2018

Fabulous location for anyone wanting to be in the middle of Dunster but not on the High Street. Beautifully furnished, clean and good quality bedding and soft furnishings. A cosy courtyard at the rear which offers complete privacy and a nice cool area to sit outside. Parking can be a little difficult outside of cottage but there is plenty free parking up the road, strongly recommend arriving/departing outside of school drop off/pick up times as it was a little busy as the school is just up the road. A lovely welcome with butter, milk, fresh bread and the best homemade cake ever.

Will stay here again as it was a truly beautiful little cottage.

Just stayed here for a three day mini break. The cottage is set in a quiet lane just off the Main Street behind the church. It looks charming from the outside but walking in you feel you have arrived home. It’s so inviting, with underfloor heating the property has been restored to a high standard with very tasteful finishes. The welcome pack of coffee, homemade cake, milk butter and bread plus the lovely flowers added a real personal touch to this cottage.
Very comfy bed, plenty of clean towels hot running water and out the back a delightful enclosed court yard.
There is nothing not to like about this place. Well done to the owners, you did Dunster proud.

“Beautiful character cottage”
Reviewed March 24, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Stayed here for 3 days. The cottage is lovely, extremely comfortable, warm, really well equipped and very clean.
It is in a brilliant position in Dunster which has great shops and super restaurants.
The dogs loved it as some fabulous walks all around.
We will definitely be going back. but for longer as didn't have enough time to explore all around.

“Perfect ”

Simply perfect!

This is a superb little cottage, it’s warm, cosy, comfortable, it has everything You could need and is perfectly situated to Dunster Centre.

We stayed for 3 nights as our Mini honeymoon and bought our little dog along. We were able to park right outside and didn’t need to drive anywhere during our stay. We made use of the walking routes the owners had made available in the folder and enjoyed exploring the amazing sites and visiting the beach. Dunster is a stunning place with plenty to see and do, we really did have the most amazing stay and have gone home with fabulous memories.

Thank you for letting us and our Hope stay in this beautiful home for our honeymoon! We loved it!

“Lovely cottage in a great position”
Reviewed April 18, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Floral cottage provided everything we could have wanted in a great position in Dunster. The accommodation and facilities were excellent. The only improvements we could think of would be a larger TV for the nights we stayed in. More outside space would be great but that isn't possible in the circumstances. Although the parking was not allocated, we were always able to park close to the cottage.

Management Response
Apr 20, 2017
Many thanks for this review. I would just like to confirm, as detailed in our listing, that in addition to the courtyard garden behind the cottage, there is also the use of the private communal garden for the exclusive use of these cottages. This is just a few metres from the cottage.
With regards to the tv, we are trying to keep a cottagey atmosphere in keeping with the age of the cottage and the feel of the village of Dunster. We feel that a large screen tv would dominate the decor.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Floral Cottage.
