“WORST RESTAURANT EVER!!!”
Reviewed August 26, 2012 via mobile

We've waited for 45mins for our food to be serve, then realised everyone has been served before us!!!
Spoken to the manager named Kelvin, what's wrong & he said with an arrogant voice well we're so busy! But when i told him everyone has been served. He just said "well then!" No apologies, no other comment or whatsoever!

“Dirty and old. Never again. AVIOD”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Most people who go there is probably tourist trade as you would never go back twice.
The only reason we went in was because it was close to where we were and our daughter was very hungry.
This is a greasy cafe and should not use the description of a restaurant,
Tables were left with food on them and not cleared away, Floor was filthy.
Food was quick but thats what happens when its fried. The food was not great, Scampi was undercooked and the peas were awful and uneatable.
Was overpriced for what it is too.
They are just exploiting the tourist trade.
Very glad to get out of there.

“Worst scones but the cream was good! Real clotted cream and generous portions Hardly your quaint afternoon tea but it was a dr”
Reviewed August 2, 2012 via mobile

Quick service, friendly staff but a very basic greasy spoon type cafe
Very stale scones, only one small carton of jam but good quality and quantity of real clotted cream
A big disappointment- not your quaint Somerset afternoon tea :0(

“OMG it's bad AVIOD”

My wife and I visited this place today during our visit to Cheddar.

This place is out of date and the food is very poor small portions and over priced. No toilets on site and the alternative advertised toilets are rank.

“70's school dinners”
Reviewed August 23, 2011

We visited the "restaurant" and we were taken back to our childhood (not in a good way) dated decor surly staff and the food was revolting and expensive £26 for 2 kids meal and 2 adult meals + pop, wouldnt have minded if the food was edible overcooked in old oil chips and the garden peas left the garden years ago, they were more like mushy(great if thst what you ordered) didnt bother to complain as obviously this was the norm.just ate what we could and ran.
