We visited here earlier this month while we where visiting family in Somerset it is a great place to stop and have a look around there are some really nice shops my husband likes the fact that they have got a Christmas shop and it is open all year round would recommend to people to have a look around.

Amazing place to visit...dog friendly too. If you visit the caves, the ticket price includes a cream tea at Costa after your tour.

Nice little village meandering in to the Gorge itself, very pretty with plenty of shops & a few bars. the shops are a little over priced I thought, but this is a tourist attraction. Plenty of cheddar & Scrumpy to be tasted before buying.

We visited the only place where Cheddar cheese is still made in the authentic hand made way.
The tour cost is minimal and then you get to sample the cheeses in the store. I recommend the Vintage cheddar and the Cave cheddar as they still use the caves in the gorge as a giant fridge.
We walked around the village but did not do the gorge tour as it was pricey and touristy.

Lots of crafty things and lots of cheese, a nice morning or afternoon out even if you didnt want to do the caves.
