We visited the only place where Cheddar cheese is still made in the authentic hand made way.
The tour cost is minimal and then you get to sample the cheeses in the store. I recommend the Vintage cheddar and the Cave cheddar as they still use the caves in the gorge as a giant fridge.
We walked around the village but did not do the gorge tour as it was pricey and touristy.

Visited as part of a few days in the west country. One of many activities and cultural places that make Cheddar Gorge so special.
