We booked the lunchtime menu here as a break from Christmas shopping and really have no regrets. We were treated well by all the staff, extending a level of courtesy that should be an example to all. The meal was delightful and very good value at £35 for three courses. The fact that the chef, Sam Moody, has just gained his first Michelin star was evident from the quality and flavours of the meal. The wine was excellent, but pricey, but this was a treat for us, so we had no objections to that. All in all, the meal with wines, water and coffee was superb and we look forward to returning there soon.
