Description: If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.

What a wonderful place. Cosy, intimate and homely atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food: complex flavours, nicely served and generous portions. The cabbage and broad bean dish was a revelation. And modest prices too. Knocks your typical High St Indian restaurant into a cocked hat.

The food was delicious and the overall ambience good fun. Very quirky place to spend an evening together. Try the gin over ice with elderflower cordial -you won`t regret it.

Came here after reading reviews recently with three friends. Food was beautiful and what a quirky restaurant. Felt very authentic and loved the decor. So much better than your typical clinical modern look. Had real character and have nothing bad to say. Staff were lovely and so glad we found thia place. We will be back. Great prices too!

I was guided to this restaurant by the many favourable reviews. However my two friends and myself where hugely disappointed in the food served. We were expecting an authentic experience but instead was served up a mixture of bland and generally unappetising over seasoned (salted) food. We knew beforehand that as a reasonably cheap establishment we should not expect too much but what was served was very poor. I would definitely avoid in the future.

We were not sure about eating here as we were unfamiliar with Nepalese cuisine and the menu seemed a bit daunting at first but we were really glad we gave it a try.
We shared a starter which was served on lovely brass plates All of the cutlery and bowls fitted in with the décor of the restaurant and helped to set the scene. The lamb and chicken curries that followed were delicious especially the chilli chicken. We followed this up with dessert and I can heartily recommend the carrot tart but the star of the show for me was the spiced sweet coffee which finished of the meal a treat. In fact if we had been in Bath for longer than the weekend I may have had to return to sample a second cup it was that delicious!
