“Nice appartment in Bath for 4 persons”
Reviewed October 20, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Weekend visiting our daughter at Uni' for her birthday. Arrived down from London late after work [11pm] . Keys left for us in key-safe by Katie who was very helpful in arranging this short stay. Pre booked car permit for Saturday [Sundays are free in Bath] and found a parking space in the road outside close to the apartment eventually. The road outside the apartment is a cul-de-sac so relatively quiet. We parked up for the duration but there were no spaces available for our friends who came to visit us on the Sunday. There is a large Sainsbury's Store over the river behind us which is accessed by foot over the old railway bridge in less that 5 minutes and there is a large car park there, but there are time restrictions there even on Sundays.
We really like Bath and strolling into town [sorry the City!] from Green Park on the west side takes 10 min's. To the other side it would take another 10 minutes.
The apartment it's self is on the 1st floor [two long shallow flights of stairs]. In the entrance lobby some residents leave their baby buggies here. Never heard any other residents, in fact we were worried in case it was our music or TV that was too loud.
The apartment has modern decor but with period features such as the high ceilings, window shutters rather than curtains and to the front there are floor to ceiling windows overlooking the park.
The modern decor includes a well equipped kitchen. Apart from breakfast we eat out most of the time during our stay [Martini's Restaurant *****]. I did find the microwave rather complicated to use. If we were staying any longer I would have studied the manual!
You are asked to remove your shoes while in the apartment as there are light coloured carpets through out. I suppose these help to keep the apartment light & airy but you can feel like you are 'treading on egg shells' in case you make a mess when you or someone invariably forgets to take their shoes off!
The other thing is that the main dining table & side tables are modern glass and I could see this being a problem if you have younger perhaps 'excited' children in your party. The beds were very comfortable. The en-suite shower tray does fill up quickly and the toilet seats were rather loose & swivelled around to add interest to the occasion. the heating & hot water worked well. For this style of apartment for the price I rate this a 9/10.

“Glorious”
Reviewed August 29, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

If you want a taste of 'times past' alongside mod cons and tasteful decor this is the place to stay. Great location and spacious accommodation - what more could you want? We will deffo book again - all was spick and span on arrival and was such a great view of the park through such beautiful windows it was tempting just to stay in and day dream. There were no probs booking and Katie was very friendly and prompt at sorting everything. I would recc for anyone with mobility probs - though not for wheelchair users as is on first floor. (btw Blue Badge holders can park in street in residents parking bays - no need to buy permit for duration of your stay)

“Fab location and lovely apartment”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We stayed at the green park apartment for a long weekend (10-12 July). I have to say Katie the manager was very helpful and we even managed to get into the apartment earlier than expected. There are 2 lovely spacious rooms with separate bathrooms and the lounge and main bedroom overlooks the lovely park to the front. Everything is within a 5/10 min walk, making the apartment a great location.

“Perfect Location for exploring the City”
Reviewed October 9, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

My daughter booked the apartment as a surprise birthday present for me. Situated near Green Park Station, quiet and peaceful - overlooking Green Park. Excellent location for exploring Bath on foot as within 15 minutes from most attractions. Very clean, tidy and spacious - could just have done with better lighting in en-suite bathroom, as one of the light bulbs had not been replaced (and in kitchen). Would certainly recommend the apartment. One slight downside was that there was a considerable amount of scaffolding up the building if front of the windows, but these are older properties and maintenance does need to be carried out! Heating excellent and controlled by thermostat that produced results very quickly.

“Luxury apartment in superb location - fabulous!”
Reviewed March 23, 2012 for a stay in March 2012

Really lovely spacious apartment in a fantastic location in central Bath overlooking a small park and the river. We just parked the car outside and forgot about it. 10 minutes walk to the Royal Crescent and town centre, lovely Green Park Bistro and farmers market on the doorstep and Sainsbury's round the corner.
Furniture and fittings all look as good as new, very much geared towards ladies taste, we were 4 ladies celebrating a significant birthday and couldn't have asked for a lovelier place to stay. Cost between us was less than a mid-range B&B or Travelodge, and you get a whole huge apartment to relax in. Bath itself is easy to walk round and has lots of nice shops, bars and restaurants so again ideal for girlies. We booked for dinner at the Circus Cafe, food and service was excellent.
Only downside of the apartment is everything is so clean and posh we didn't dare even have red wine! But I would call it a champagne type of place to stay in anyway...

“lovely place to stay”

Nice enough to spend time in if weather was bad, comfortable and spacious.
Also close to the Salamander pub, which we loved and all the other pubs and restaurants near Queens Square.
