Stopped here on a tour through Bath. Early dinner offerings (began at 5 pm) were tasty. Ate outside at one of two tables and enjoyed the ambiance across from some posh digs. It's near the Circus and the Royal Crescent, so has a marketable location. The service was attentive, the food arrived in quick order and the choices were good for those of us who did not want a huge meal (rissotto, crab bisque and desserts were perfect). The indoor tables have a great deal of atmosphere (fireplace, etc.), but when the weather is good in Bath, one really should sit outside! Would return on another trip to England.

Me and my girlfriend had a really good experience here.
The service was nice, warm and fast and the food was delicious and lovely handcrafted.

The espresso definitely worth a try, especially if you would like to enjoy it chatting with Mr. Mark, the manager!

Me and my boyfriend had lunch here and it was blissful. The waitress was really nice and the manager too. My had some fish with lentils and curry and I had some risotto (but it was more similar to an arancino, since it was fried). The service was really fast; we are italian, so, if you're too, we really suggest to have an espresso here.
Warmly suggested if you visit bath.

The food was excellent with fresh, seasonal offerings.
A bit pricey but well worth the cost.
Attentive service.
Avoid the table at the top of the stairs.

You will feel right a home at Circus Cafe, as soon as you enter you are greeted by the manager of the restaurant who is truly a proper British lady with a huge smile. The place fills exactly like you're having a dinner at someones house. And the food...the food is nothing short of incredible. We had the lamb and the pork that followed an incredible crab soup and terrine of goats cheese. Everything was delicious and the staff were very nice. The food is great and that is reflected in the price. For a main of lamb you'll pay around £18. However they don't charge service, which mean that the waiters are actually very very good and strive to serve you well. So at the end you'll want to leave a tip for the guys. At the end of the meal you'll feel that the price is high but its worth every single penny.
