Description: The Mahal of Exquisite Indian Cuisine with the cities most impressive Georgian interior and triple domed high ceiling. Here at The Eastern Eye we are humbled and elated to have received multiple Restaurant of the Year Awards in 2011, along with a whole host of other accolades and positive reviews from popular magazines, newspapers and awards bodies. We specialize in wholesome traditional Indian food, with a touch of imagination and creative flair. We use some of the finest ingredients and pay immense attention to ensuring flavours are not only grounded in Indian culinary heritage, but also now and again break the mould with flavour combinations that are both unique and exceptionally delicious.

Our best eating place in Bath! My wife and I have been eating frequently at the Eastern Eye for many years, and we have never been disappointed. We do not know another Indian restaurant of similar quality anywhere. The waiters are all invariably friendly and helpful. Congratulations on the recent redecoration! Even the coffee is first class.

Eastern Eye is a top Indian eatery by any standards. Being an Indian food enthusiast and having visited many good Indian restaurants around the country at different times, coming back home and spending an evening at the Eastern Eye only reminds and endorses my opinion of what a first-class establishment we have in Bath. The menu offers a wide selection - many dishes are deliciously different from the standard offerings by other restaurants. The service is always genuinely attentive and courteous and the large restaurant interior has great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone. .

This appears to be an old cinema, so high ceilings and lots of space, went on a Tuesday evening when it was very quite, service was slow to start with, I guess the slower the service the more Tigers you drink. !!
But once we had ordered the food came quickly and it was very nice, paid £35 for two mains and £20 for a bottle of wine, would probably go again.

The Eastern Eye has built up a well earned reputation as probably the best Indian restaurant in Bath. However the standards do seem to be slipping. The service has, at best, always been leisurely but now the food has significantly deteriorated. We had two different meals and the taste of salt dominated. We spent the rest of the day having to drink copious amounts of water because of salt overload, not because of the spice (the food is more bland than it used to be).

We've only been coming to your restaurant in Bath for 22 years and travel from Southampton at least 3 or 4 times a year and always enjoy our meal, especially the same starter, meat dosha which is never on any other Indian menu.

We have introduced many of our family and friends who think we are quite mad to travel all that way for an Indian meal.
