Description: The Olive Tree Restaurant in the Queensberry Hotel has gained local popularity and national renown as one of the premiere dining places in Bath. The hotel is a stylish contemporary boutique hotel, but the restaurant is an oasis of calm modernity, with excellent British food served with a great attention to detail in relaxed, informal surroundings.

Visited The Olive Tree again with some friends who had not visited before. Had the A La Carte menu this time and was not disappointed. Crab Lasagne to start - WOW - best dish I have ever eaten! Halibut for the main course, only had this as a taster menu before and it did not disappoint, flavours are incredible and cooked to perfection. Dessert was the coconut meringue which was also amazing.
Cannot wait to go back. Service was excellent and very attentive. Atmosphere in the restaurant was busy but not too noisy.

Had another great meal at The Olive Tree last night, this time our group opted for the "a la carte" menu for a change and it was not a mistake, in fact it was awesome.

We usually opt for the taster menu but our group decided to go to choice. I had the Duck Liver as my starter, which as a full dish takes the taste to another level. My main was the Veal, which again as a full dish really did show the taste to be a new experience, it's a dish I loved before but now love even more with its little tweeks. Desert was an explosion of pleasure in the form of the chocolate fondant with pistachio, wow.

The 6 of us pretty much had everything on the menu and even with a full restaurant we where not kept waiting, as the pace of the food was perfectly timed coming out to allow us to have great conversation as well as time to absorb a true food experience.

Thanks again to The Team of Chefs which always make our visits one to remember in more ways than one!

The olive tree is a great choice for a special occasion. Staff are efficient, food is delicious if pricey. The restaurant has great atmosphere.
The restaurant is situated in the Queensbury hotel and there is a lovely outdoor courtyard to have a pre dinner drink.

Meal was very good with plenty of good flavours and textures. The service was also of a good standard with good customer focus. I would consider it rather expensive when expressed in Euro's at €180 for a 3 course meal for 2.
Finally the overcharge of €26 for drinks not received "put the tin hat" on it

We had an exceptional meal at the Olive Tree. The food was exquisitely served and the combination of flavours was outstanding. We will return to try the rest of the menu!
