Apple Tree Guest House is a perfect place to stay while visiting Bath. Perfectly situated for a very easy 5min walk into town. Although very close to town the guest house is tucked away in a very pleasant, quiet, leafy street with off street parking.

There is a canal very close to the guest house which made for a delightful alternative walk into town, allowing us to enjoy the beautifully elegant Georgian properties that run alongside the canal.

The owners Leslie and Lynsay Redwood offered us an exceptionally warm welcome and made our stay very comfortable. They were both very knowledgeable about Bath and were a great source of information for places to see and visit. They were so friendly to us and really went out of their way to make us feel at home, including our two young children.

The breakfasts were super and catered for all my families needs. A warmer friendlier service we couldn't have received.

The guest house is spotlessly clean, both in the communal areas and the bedrooms. We had the family room which was perfect for our needs, very light, airy and plenty of room. There were tea making facilities with complimentary chocolates and a flat screen tv with built in dvd player.

I would have no hesitation recommending Apple Tree Guest House and will definitely make a return visit there.

A first class guest house, with first class service in a first class city.

This has got to be the friendliest guest house we've ever stayed at. Les & Lynsay are the perfect hosts. They made us feel so at home that we really didn't want to leave! The guest house has been very tastefully decorated and our room was very comfortable and well equiped. We were very impressed at how Les remembered everyone's names at breakfast! Lovely food, nothing too much trouble. Great touch with the chocolate in the rooms and loved the lollies in reception!! Location is excellent. Overall, one of the best stays we've had in Bath - and we've been to Bath quite a lot!

Les and Lyns are lovely people. We felt extremely welcome at Apple Tree Guest House. The location was great within 6 -7 minutes walk into Bath. Free parking. Our double room had an en suite, the guest house was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good. Would recommend as a great base to explore the area.

We would highly recommend this guest house after our stay. Les and Lynsey were the perfect hosts.
They allowed us to check in at 10.30am and made us feel very welcome. They were really helpful with things to do, places to eat and directions.
The room was nice and clean with comfy beds. Breakfast was a hoot with Les running front of house. I'd guess it's always that way! Choice, quality and quantity were in no shortage and the service time was a convenient (for us) 9-10am. Parking was not a problem and the location was excellent (5 mins from Bath Abbey)

A nice touch was leaving a muffin and birthday greetings to our son in our room, who turned 4 during our stay.

Excellent!

I can't recommend this highly enough! Les and Lynsay were brilliant hosts and couldn't do enough for us.
We felt very much at home. Rooms were spotless, beds comfy, and wonderful cooked breakfasts set us up for the day.
Apple Tree is really close by foot from the train station and only 5 minutes' walk from Bath Abbey and all the attractions, so it's an ideal place to stay for anyone travelling on their own or in company.
Book early though as it's very popular (quite rightly so!)

We came for two nights for a big family wedding, didn't want a lot of hassle, liked the look of Apple Tree, and found our hopes fulfilled: a guest house with all we needed and within easy walking access of the city centre

Les and Lyndsay made us feel very welcome. Les supplied a free parking ticket and parking was easy . The 10 minute flat walk over the river and passed the cricket ground into the centre of Bath was very enjoyable. The English breakfast was yummy and our room was very spacious. The hospitality was second to none. The Molton Brown hand wash was a lovely touch in the bathroom. Les recommended the Martini restaurant in George Street. We went there on the Saturday night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitley go back to the Apple Tree.
