“Excellent Guest House”
Reviewed March 10, 2010

Les and Lynsay were the perfect hosts for our weekend in Bath. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they gave us very good advice about places to see, and places to eat and drink. The Guest House was immaculate and breakfast was excellent. I would certainly recommend a stay at the Apple Tree and I hope that we will return there soon!

Les and Lynsay accomodated us for a Saturday night (instead of the mandatory two nights a w/ends) due to a late cancellation, and we had a perfect stay. They are a very friendly, welcoming couple with plenty of advice about what to do and see in Bath, and they provide a very tasty breakfast.
The box of chocolates that they provided (it was Valentines weekend) was a nice touch, and the location of the B&B, just 5-10 mins walk from the centre was ideal.

We stayed at the Apple Tree Guesthouse after it was recommended by freinds, and it was everything they had said and more! The location couldn't have been better for walking into the centre of Bath and the train station. Our room was exceptionally clean and warm with a fantastic shower and toiletries! We especially enjoyed the chocolate bars in our rooms and the best cooked breakfast we have ever had! But the high-light of our stay was definately the hosts, Lesley and Lindsay who from the minute we arrived, made us welcome. They have to be the most freindliest and warm couple you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were helpful in recommending places to visit and directions. Thanks guys for a brilliant stay....We will be back!

Crowd of us have just returned from a fantastic week end in Bath, we stayed at the
Apple Tree Guest House for 2 nights. Talk about a warm welcome, Les and Lynsay made all of us feel really welcome a real home from home.
Even though it was absolutely freezing outside our rooms were really warm and cosy, great shower, plenty of storage space for all our girlie things, especially liked the Moulton Brown wash and cream also the bar of chocolate with the tea/coffee.
Lovely rooms, great hosts and fantastic breakfast they gave us good advice on what to see and where to eat.
The location was spot on we could walk to wherever we wanted to go, shops bars and restaurants. Would reccommend this place to all of our friends and we will certainly be booking in the future. Thank You Les and Lyns.

Spent a lovely weekend in Bath staying here with my other half. The owners were warm and welcoming, and our lovely room had just been redecorated and had its own en--suite.

Location is great meaning you can leave the car and walk into the middle of Bath in minutes, no hunting for parking in a town you don't know.

Had a great time and can't wait to go back.

We booked the Apple Tree Guest House based on other recommendations on tripadvisor - and were stunned: the owners, Les and Lynsay made us feel comfortable literally the moment we arrived. They made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel welcome. The room was quite small, but nicely and newly decorated and it had all we needed. Breakfast was cooked by Lynsay herself and she specifically asked for extra wishes - and fulfilled them! From the B&B it is only a few minutes walk to the centre, but the area itself is very quiet. If we ever come to Bath again, this is the place we would definitely stay again!

The owners, Les and Lynsey, were really nice and welcoming and also very helpful about where to go and what to see. Luckily I knew Bath well, from previously living nearby, but their advice, overhead given to others, was always spot on, from my memory. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. A little expensive when on your own, as I was, but a very reasonable price for twin rooms, so close to the centre of Bath and yet, exceptionally quiet street. Parking vouchers from the B&B let you park for free, which is a definite plus! Friendly pub at the bottom of the road with excellent real ales and a really good restaurant on the short walk to town, One Fish, Two Fish, with special deals before 7:30. I will always go first to the Apple Tree, if/when I return to Bath.
