This is a fabulous bed and breakfast. My (future) fiance and I traveled to Bath from London for a romantic weekend, and we were impressed before even checking in with the great contact from the owners (e.g. directions from the train station to their location). Upon check in, we were greeted warmly as if we were old friends and given a detailed map of the city as well as great advice on the areas to check out first. We were also given some wonderful restaurant recommendations.
It was on this trip that my boyfriend (now fiance) proposed. When the owners heard about the news, they were as thrilled for us as if we'd been their own family. They even gave us a bottle of champagne! It's the little things like that which make the Apple Tree Guest House such a unique establishment.

The room was decent sized and looked very new and renovated, and the breakfast was fantastic. One of the best I've had in a B & B (and I've stayed in quite a few).

There are lots of choices of places to stay in Bath, but you can't go wrong with the Apple Tree. It's close to the train and bus station and close to the city centre. Nothing was too far of a walk away. Great people, great location, great rooms, great food...what else could you want!

I can't recommend this establishment enough. We'll definitely be back.

Went to Bath for a weekend break with a friend to try and beat the January blues! Went to the Thermae Spa, took time for some shopping, dinner and it was all topped off by a wonderful stay at the Apple Tree Guest House. A warm welcome, lots of friendly information, lovely rooms and a fantastic breakfast await!!

We stayed at the hotel and had an amazing time. The hotel is a great example of british hospitality. Warm and welcoming, very stylish and clean, we were made to feel completely at home. A home from home whilst travelling away. The owners are charming and nothing was too much trouble, we will definately stay here again.

We were looking for a cosy, clean place to stay for the bank holiday weekend. It was an absolute joy to arrive here. The guesthouse was very clean, friendly and peaceful. I am surprised it is not higher up on the list. I would recommend it to everyone. The rooms are small, but very cosy. What I liked about it, was you have to leave you shoes outside the room, which meant you the bedrooms are very clean. Top notch!
