We have stayed in many place over the years but this has to be one of the top ones. Our welcome by the owners was second to none it was our wedding anniversary and we had taken a bottle of champagne Maria promptly bought us two glasses for us to drinks this in the lovely garden. The room we were given was a four poster with its own private bathroom everything was spotlessly clean and rooms was very well equipt down to a small fridge and a tower fan. Carlo cooked breakfast as requested every morning and it was all delishious. With only a 10-15 minute walk into the city centre location was ideal too I do hope we get the opportunity to stay there again our three nights went far too quickly. Once again Maria and Carlo thank you for your hospitality

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Claudia. We were greeted warmly by Maria and Carlo and shown to our room which had a four poster bed and a small fridge if we needed it. While not ensuite, the beautiful spacious private bathroom was just next door and we were given a foldable screen to give us privacy when moving from the bathroom back to the bedroom. Lovely breakfast each morning - fresh fruit salad and cereals then a choice of cooked English or continental breakfast. We indulged in the full English which was delicious then I swapped to the scrambled egg and smoked salmon for a couple of mornings for a bit of luxury. Delicious. Loved the fresh ground cappuccino coffee to finish and we were ready for the 10/15 minute walk into Bath for the day. Really good access to the city from Villa Claudia.

This location was perfect for a first-time driver in the UK. Downtown is within easy walking distance. The road to Stonehenge is nearby, so you can be on your way in no time.
The room was bright and beautiful. The bed was luxurious. Parking was no problem.
Have the full English breakfast prepared just to your liking by Carlo. Remember to thank him as you leave the dining room. Stay awhile to enjoy great conversation. If you're lucky, he and Maria will introduce you to their beautiful gardens. The fig trees were miraculous.

Wonderful little b&b in a pretty central location (only a 5 minute walk from Great Pulteney Street). The room was perfect and had a lovely four poster bed. The hosts, Maria and Carlo were absolutely lovely, very friendly and welcoming. This place was such a refreshing change from the usual chain type of accommodation. If we're ever in the vicinity again, this will be our first choice.
